Distance from ship to ferry dock

Can anyone tell me how far it is from the ship to the ferry dock? I have a child that hates to walk long distances.

It's not a real long walk for an adult but a young'un that doesn't like to walk might complain some, probably less then 1/2 mile. When you come off the dock do not walk all the way to the road, stay to the left just off the pier and walk past the front of the Government Building and Maria's By the Sea Hotel, cut thru the shopping village and head to the far end of the municipal parking area.
