Has anyone been upgraded from a casino booking?

We are in a mini suite on the Emerald September New England cruise. We were offered a free balcony and upgraded to a mini ( the highest they would let us go). This week I received an upgrade offer. I bid on club class mini ( highest bid $265 a person) and penthouse, vista and premium suites ( weak offers). Has anyone received an upgrade as we are already getting a nice discount?

A couple we travel with recently had a casino booking and they were upgraded from interior to a balcony...but I *think* they had to pay for it.

We always upgrade from whatever free cabin we have to a full suite. You can always upgrade if you are willing to pay extra

Yes.  In the 5 cruises I've done since the upgrade process was rolled out, I've bid on upgrades 3 times.  One cruise was completely sold out so no upgrade on that one.  But 2 others were accepted.  Both times for the minimum bid.  I was going from inside to balcony though, so YMMV.

we woud upgrade at the guest services on arriving on the ship before they started the bidding program.   We had a free balcony and would paid $280 the first time to upgrade to mini suite, second time $300.

Now the bidding, we have paid $300 to go from balcony to mini suite.  Then last time paid $80 to go from balcony to deluxe balcony.

we currently have a bid for $300 to go to a mini suite.  Put in the bid on day 85 and we leave in 37 days and haven't heard anything
