Carnival port in San Francisco questions.

What is the best and cheapest way to get from the airport to a hotel by the cruise terminal? How about from our hotel to the Carnival pier? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We used uber earlier this month and it was about $60 each way.  

 

We also took uber from our hotel to the pier, which wasn't too expensive (though I can't recall the exact amount).  I know some people walk from their hotels to the pier, but I wouldn't do that unless you are close.

First off there is no Carnival pier. It will be either Pier 27 or Pier 35. The cheapest way would be Bart but you get to lug your own luggage...

For sure take Uber or a taxi from the airport to your hotel! I DO NOT recommend BART.

 

Where is your hotel in relation to the pier?  That may make a difference in how you get to the pier.

For a value hotel, I like the Columbus Motor Inn and the sister properties, Chelsea Inn, Coventry Inn, Cow Hollow Inn and Cow Hollow Suites.
