has anyone stayed at the fortune house hotel in miami beach and if so what can you tell me about it.

I have not stayed there but have the Fortune House booked for pre-cruise night in the beginning of April. I have seen mixed reviews...

It isn't a hotel and it isn't in Miami Beach. It is in Miami which is a different animal.

 

It is a highrise condo building on Biscayne Bay a couple of miles from the Port of Miami.

 

I can't see any reason to stay here pre or post cruise because it isn't near anything. It is several miles from the port, beaches, and Bayside (I'm guessing which is why you are staying downtown in the first place).

 

The only good side is that it is a condo which means it will have a full kitchen.

it was listed as a hotel and is 2 miles from the port so it is close to some things such as bayside marketplace.
