kpauley Posted June 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2023 (edited) When looking at a Provider to quote for an annual policy, "Trips Per Year" is asked. If taking three 10 day cruises in a row (different ships, no days separating them) is this considered 3 trips or 1? Thanks. klfrodo Posted June 28, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2023 I'll let others confirm this, but 1 single trip is the time you depart your primary residence until the time you return to you primary residence. I would guess that one could get around this if one lived next to a port. Get off 1 ship, grab an Uber home, wash some clothes, grab a bite to eat, then grab an Uber back to the port and board another ship.
kpauley Posted June 29, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted June 29, 2023 Thanks for your input. I think you are probably right with this being a single trip. I have time before I get another annual policy so I'll do some investigating.
Fivelinks Posted June 29, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 29, 2023 I used to purchase annual policy from Chubb however they no longer offer extensive coverage only medical. If you don't mind please post what you find as I am having a hard time finding a new provider.

Hi Fivelinks, I haven't found an Annual Trip Cancellation plan that is good enough for me to sell due to their plan limitations with what's needed to cover the changes in travel since Covid started.
