Dining Time

I am going to be going on my first MSC cruise on the Seascape in a couple of months and have not been on a cruise where I had to choose a dining time. Wounderng someone will have an answer for what I am seeing.

When we booked the cruise we choose early dinning and this is reflected on the confirmation. Well, looking at my account on MSC it states "Your dining preference is not set."

 

Anyone know why the dining time would not be set when the time has already been selected.

They probably have not assigned a dining room yet; there is a slight stagger to the start times for early dining depending on if they assign you Cala Jondal, Green Wave, or Aegean.

Which of the three dining times you get will not be set until embarkation.  It is important to note, your selected preference is just that....a preference.  We met people onboard who wanted late but got one of the early times and people who requested early and got late.

A few months ago the computer system seemed to change to show any bookings as "dining preference not set". 

Ours suddenly changed but we received our preferred dining time once onboard. 

 

The MSC ships are fantastic, their computers, not so much.
