Disembarkation on Overnight Stays

Hi Everyone!

Hoping someone can answer this question that a few of us have regarding an upcoming cruise on the NCL Prima.  We port in Iceland overnight the day before we are to disembark the ship.  Seeing as we are staying overnight in port, are we allowed to disembark very early in the morning on the 2nd day to catch our flights?  A few of us are getting different answers from NCL and no one seems to know.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

You need customs and immigration if you get off early, must be arranged.  No one on here, including me, can tell you any better than NCL can.  Don't give up asking them, or just stay another night on the ship, book your flight accordingly.

We just got off the June 25 Prima cruise after an overnight in Iceland.  Immigration was on the ship the day before we reached Reykjavik to clear everyone - passport stamps and all - so no other check was needed once we reached Reykjavík.

When we were ready to leave around 8am on the last day, we just tapped our card, walked off with our luggage, and boarded our transportation. Since we didn’t try to debark early, I can’t speak to if or how that would work, but they did start general debarkation for self-assist passengers around 6:30am on the last day.

As they say “your mileage may vary”. 😀

Hate digging up an old thread but @LibertyGirl7 how did this go for you?

Trying to make sure I don't plan something that is impossible.  11am feels "borderline" so looking to hear how an Iceland debark after an overnight worked for others.  Thanks!
