Port to MCO - Noon Flight

Hello - I am planning on making flight reservations and was wondering if a noon flight was possible from Port Canaveral or are we better off going with a 2:00pm departure?  We are TSA Precheck, however we do have 2 toddlers under the age of 4.  Thanks.

More than likely you'll make a noon flight from MCO. We self disembarked (4 adults & 2 kids) used a private shuttle company and were there in plenty of time for our noon flight.

We will not be self debarking due to the amount of luggage we have, stroller, kids etc, but will try and get an early time slot to be able to get off the ship.  9/10 times all of the luggage is already placed out well in advance at the port.

You should have no trouble getting the earliest time slot to disembark. I would still stick with the noon flight...less time to spend at MCO with kids.

MCO is notorious for long lines at security and luggage drop.

We have TSA Pre-check not that it would help for luggage but good to know.  Might have to just do the 2pm flight and deal with overtired toddlers to be on the safe side and not miss our flight.

I would.  Depending on your airline, they might have curb side luggage drop which can be a good alternative.

Will be flying on American, not sure if the private shuttle folks will stop right in front of one but that's good to know that they offer it.

Just FYI…..American has one of the worst records in Orlando for delays and cancellations…..

Gotcha, cancellation would really suck, but both are out of our control, unless we do Southwest if that is exponentially better than American at MCO.  Both AA and SW are non-stop flights for us.
