Crown Princess September 2023, is 11:45 Flight to US doable

We have a United Flight booked back to Houston, TX at 11:45 am after disembarking the Crown Princess .  We have booked private transportation to the airport,  due to mobility issues we can not walk off with luggage.  We do plan to be in the first group to collect checked luggage.   Thoughts on making this flight, it’s the only non stop to Houston😞.  Thanks in advance ☺️

For a 11:45 US departure, with mobility issues, you probably want to be at YVR by 09:45. Provided the ship docks on time and you are the first group off, you should have a good probability of making the flight.

 

If you disembark by 07:30, your private transportation should depart Canada Place by at least 08:00. Going against rush hour traffic, it is 25 - 40 mins to VYR. I expect you could be at YVR by 08:30, provided the ship arrives on time, commences disembarkation on time and there are no Vancouver traffic jams.

I wouldn't risk it, you have to go through US Border Services in the Vancouver airport and depending on how many other cruisers are trying to get through - it could be very busy.  With the additional issue of mobility problems, its cutting it too close in my opinion.
