Doc2725 Posted July 15, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2023 Hi All - We are sailing on Allure of the Seas on December 15, 2023 to December 18. Looking at booking our return flight in the afternoon of December 18 out of Orlando airport. What are everyone's thoughts on making a 2 PM flight that day? We are staying in a suite, so we get priority disembarkation. However, I want to make sure that is enough time, assuming no traffic delays. TIA
Ashland Posted July 15, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2023 You'll have plenty of time. I would book with one of the many private shuttle companies. We've used Cruise Control 888 416-8830.
smokeybandit Posted July 15, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2023 (edited) 2pm is easy. You'll actually find yourself trying to find ways to pass time. My last cruise out of MCO I had an 11:22am flight and still had plenty of time to wait at the airport. Twolittleboys Posted July 15, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 15, 2023 Should not be a problem. Check the offered transfers (either cruise line or something like GoPort). Else you could take an Uber - I was surprised that it was less expensive than I had expected (probably little more than shuttle for two people). Driving time should be less than an hour so if you disembark early you should have no problem (even if there is heavy traffic etc.)

Rare kctwinmommy Posted July 15, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 15, 2023 Yep, you'll be fine. Even if the shuttles are still screwed up like they were last November when we went. They were a mess! Like everyone else, they were short staffed, so people were all trying to cram into the shuttles. Even with all of that, we were still there with plenty of time for our early afternoon flight. That several others had booked as well. I guess you mean a completely private car. But they were missing workers that day and the office was overwhelmed. It was just a perfect storm of problems. And again, as I said, we still made it to the airport, just took much longer than ever before.
