brockmom Posted July 15, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2023 Hello all - if I find I am a wee bit short for Euro for the few things that I need Euro cash for - does Guest services have it available for purchase ? thank you Brockmom
Northern Aurora Posted July 15, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2023 Guest Relations most likely will have Euro onboard, but the exchange rate will be horrific. If you exchange at GR be prepared to pay dearly for that "convenience."
Rare cruisestitch Posted July 15, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2023 Exactly. You will be better off bringing your ATM card and using a “bank on the wall” to withdraw money from your account at home.

neverlaysup Posted July 16, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Just use a cash machine on land, you will get the best exchange rates through your bank.
brockmom Posted July 16, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted July 16, 2023 Ok thanks all. Good to know it’s there in CASE…lol i have never been a fan of using atms out of country as I used to see customers Lose their cards to the machines. No way getting it back if that happens as most banks don’t service them. No idea what it’s like in Europe. As well , there will be out of country fees with my bank. Also if you overbuy and sell your money back when you get home, you automatically lose on the exchange..lol. I will do my best to only take what I need….use the credit card as much as possible…and be prepared for the crappy exchange at GR if needed. thanks !
wrk2cruise Posted July 16, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 16, 2023 On Constellation there was an ATM in the foyer which dispensed Euros, the one in the Casino USD. I'm not sure what the fees are but I know in the past the USD one was at least $6 plus any fees from your bank.
