Dolphin Excursions: Nassau vs. Freeport

Trying to decide where to do a dolphin excursion (through Carnival since we have a lot of OBC to use).  It's just me and the hubby, and we've always wanted to do such an excursion. Both Nassau and Freeport list dolphin swims & dolphin encounters.  The Nassau excursions both include lunch and are held at Blue Lagoon Island (which looks great, but not sure if much shade is available during beach time there? I need shade when I'm not out swimming.).  The Freeport excursions do not include lunch, but cost substantially more (held at Sanctuary Bay - I think it's just there and back with no beach time?).  I can't seem to find exactly how much time is spent with the dolphins for these options.  Have looked at YT videos as well during my research, but still don't have all questions answered.  Any opinions/advice are appreciated.  I'd like to get something booked in the next day or so.
