Horizon - Linking Aft Balconies or Other Balconies?

 Share

Recommended Posts

Very specific question here that I'm hoping a previous cruiser can answer.

We are travelling with a large family and were able to find 4 rooms next to each other in the Family Harbor area at the Aft of the ship. We had initially thought that we'd be able to open our partitions and create a large, combined balcony to share, but were told that this cannot be done on Aft ( floor 2) balconies specifically. I thought this was strange because we've always seen crew members cleaning the balcony decks by opening all the partitions.

The CSR rep told my sister that we can do this on Spa balconies on Deck 12 and 14. We didn't inquire about other decks since there currently aren't that many rooms available close together in other areas of the ship.

Does anyone know which (if any) of the above mentioned balconies (Family Harbor Aft or Spa) can be opened up like we're wanting to do? Thanks so much in advance as we're looking to finalize plans ASAP.

Thank you so much for those links.  🥰 This was exactly the type of answer I was looking for and will be so insightful when we make our final plans.

In regards to the Deck 2-Aft balconies, this is what is stated.

Balcony features: 2 patio chairs and table / balcony partition does not open

I will warn you that opening the divider is not as great as it seems. We did this on one and it just kept slamming in the wind when the ship was moving and making noise. We ended up having to have them close it and lock it.
