Baltimore flight on Debarkation Day

I keep reading about fog when returning into Baltimore. We are cruising the end of September. What is the earliest flight you would book out of BWI?

If I remember correctly, the Carnival Legend doesn't dock until 10:00am, while the Vision of the Seas docks at a more normal time.

 

It's about a 20 minute ride to the airport, so it doesn't take too long.... I'm a conservative cruiser, who doesn't take his own bags off... For the Vision, I would want the flight to leave after 1200. (2pm for the Carnival ship.)

Where are you reading about fog in Baltimore?  It is not usually a problem but even if there was fog it would not impact your trip to BWI.  What time are you scheduled to disembark?  Will you carry your own bags?  What day of the week will it be?  Will you be using Uber/Lyft to get to the airport or a cruise shuttle?

 

Generally, BWI is close to the port & an easy efficient airport to navigate.  I would be comfortable booking a flight 2 hrs after I disembarked but I carry my own bags and use Uber.

Taxis are hit or miss.  There are some but not a long line that you might see at other ports. Once there was a limo driver looking for passengers.

You will be much more successful using Uber/Lyft from the port to BWI
