Ellencruise Posted July 30, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2023 On a cruise now and I seem to be able to get a better price on the web, for a future cruise, all perks included, than the future cruise consultant on board can offer. Anyone else ever have this issue?

Anyone else ever have this issue? I have had that happen a couple times. I logged in and showed the price to the FCC who adjusted the price. They've never told me why that would happen, just always adjusted it.

Hmm good idea but she wouldn’t budge when I told her, didn’t show her. she claimed she had the most up to date pricing. Oh well, I’ll have my TA do it! Rare Mary229 Posted July 30, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2023 If you have a casino discount attached to your account it may not show for the consultant. I rarely book onboard but I buy the FCD and enjoy the refundable, low deposit with any cruise. Even on a recent casino free cruise they asked if I wanted to use my FCD for the booking fee, I declined . The only difference is I don’t get the onboard OBC which for us is not large as we never book suites

Just buy the FCD, they will notify your agent.

Oh well, I’ll have my TA do it! I received similar response about them having the most current pricing so I logged in in front of them and handed them my phone. I had taken screenshots just so I was covered in case the internet decided to crash, which it did only 1 time and they honored the price from the screenshot. Also, if HAL is running a reduced deposit promo while you're booking onboard, you may have to ask for it as the FCC .at automatically put in $100 deposit pp; I've also had that happen. My apologies to the HAL atmosphere that I might have been putting anger waves out there! I think pricing is better onboard today Still laughing 🤣🤣 1

fusion927 Posted August 1, 2023 #12 Share Posted August 1, 2023 Had this happen before, but was getting the price online for a non-refundable fare vs. the TA with the normal (non-HIA) price.
