Great Bay Beach

We are sailing on the Carnival Celebration in September and want to head over to Great Bay Beach.  It has been awhile since we have been there.  We are looking for a nice place to lay on the beach, swim, eat and drink.  If you take the water taxi is it better to go to the right or the left ?  Any recommendations would be great. Also what are the going rates for chairs and umbrellas ?

Following, but also to piggyback off this thread: How easy is it to get into the water? Is there a hill or drop-off, or is it fairly flat?  Thanks!

I'm not sure if both sides are the same, we were on the left with our backs facing the water.  There is a good 10 feet into the water where it's about hip height, then it drops off more.  I didn't walk much in the water, just in for a dip.
