1JockeyGirl Posted August 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2023 Does anyone know if NCL allows OBC (onboard credit) to be used to pay the $20 pp/day gratuities at end of cruise? Thanks!
KateQ22003 Posted August 4, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2023 I think it depends on whether it is refundable or non-refundable. I had non-refundable credit last week on the Pearl and they would not let me use it for gratuities. They wouldn't let me use it towards cruisenext certificates either. 9tee2Sea Posted August 4, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2023 i always use the OBC to buy a $10.00 watch ( they used to be $10.00). Cheaper than buying batteries these days. I think the rules state that OBC cannot be used for daily gratuities, but not certain. I believe, you can use it towards shore excursions purchased onboard. darkhorizon Posted August 4, 2023 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2023 If a TA is giving you OBC, would it be refundable or non-refundable? How do you get refundable OBC?

TA might give either OBC. Refundable OBC is generally purchased.
