Current Haven benefits

Our upcoming Haven. We had a 20% off promo and booked H5 category. $500/night/person is where I draw the line. I was okay with the cost since it is a new ship, I definitely wouldn't pay that much for like...the Epic. All in, between airfare (we're flying business), hotels (we're spending 4 extra nights), land tours, museums, excursions, we'll be around $20k.

We have a 10 day cruise in Italy/Greek islands and have paid roughly £250 ($318) per night in a Two Bed Family Suite in the Haven 

Last year we paid extra for the Thermal suite, I used it once and husband not at all as found it busy and crowded whereas there was hardly anyone around in the Haven Courtyard so won't be bothering on this cruise.

Snack wise we don't tend to ask the Butler for anything special, though last year when my son was revising for his GCSE's he did ask for a constant supply of snacks to keep him going and the butler was ace at keeping him topped up!

For us what makes the Haven a must is being whisked into a lovely room for embarkation and even if you have to wait there are drinks and snacks on hand, being taken for lunch on the first day, having restaurant bookings and excursions taken care of, having a lovely chilled start to the day with a Haven breakfast, the free laundry ! (love going home with hardly and washing!)

$1000 a day had to be for two people. For $1000pp per day, either you’re in the Owner’s Suite or you’re doing it wrong.

Yes we always have a family suite or 2 bed family room and cruise for 10-12 days. In this time we've always had 2 loads of laundry so a bag at approx day 4 (love this one as pre cruise we have usually done 3/4 days in the city of where we are embarking from so as a family of 4 theres already quite a bit of dirty washing ) and a bag about day 9. Believe me you can get a lot in those bags and it always comes back beautifully washed and ironed and with the 2nd bag alot of it gets popped straight into my case.

I also love the laundry being done, but this is not a perk of being in the Haven.  It comes with being Platinum or above.  If you do not have status, you pay the full price for a bag of laundry - even in the Haven.

We don’t have platinum (will do after this cruise) but we’ve always sailed haven and always had laundry so I assumed it was a Haven Perk ! I guess we’ve just been lucky 🍀

Bingo. I have only gotten free laundry due to my latitudes status.

It’s definitely not a Haven perk.  The only category of room that comes with a free bag of laundry is a Club Balcony.  You should have been charged.  If you’re close to Platinum, you were likely Gold.  A bag of laundry is 50% off for Gold.

I think we're on the same cruise. We booked HE coming out to $275pp/pn including fees/discounts/etc.

 

Defintely check if your fare dropped as we got a $1000 fcc due to a price drop.

The 2BR Havens are also continuing to drop for my Dec 1 transatlantic on the Epic.  It’s gone down another $400 since we made final payment.  I just talked to my casino guy.  He confirmed there is a ONE TIME FCC offered for price drops after final payment. There’s still tons of those cabins left.  We’re going to wait and continue to watch the price.

I have checked it a few times since we booked (late April). It hasn't gone down at all & now our category is sold out. We really got a good deal, IMO, with the 20% off, on top of NCL's normal "sale".
