We took this cruise in the opposite direction in June on the Prima and docked, no tenders. Were there other ships also in port that day which had priority at the dock? Every Prima cruise last summer skipped the port of Isafjordur.
Rare ontheweb Posted July 22 Author #52 Share Posted July 22 Since this thread was brought back when someone on another review thread of this itinerary asked to see it, maybe some knew to it have not read a follow up thread i started. This thread ends with us not needing our cruise insurance as our regular insurance paid the entire bill for medial and there is no follow up on my wife's condition except she saw her doctor at home afterward. Well, a week or two later she ended up first in an ambulance, then an emergency room. and finally a hospital bed. She had a twisted bowel. If her medical condition had progressed faster, we would truly have needed the travel insurance! And she is fine now.

This was from last summer, not now. As far as I know the port of Isafjordur is no longer being missed.
