Melbourne Cup Cruise

Hi 

 

I have just booked on the Melbourne Cup Cruise from Sydney.  Just wondering:

 

1) What to expect - are there "Melb Cup" orientated activities; 

2) I understand that General Admission to Flemington is included.  If we want to get to upgrade our General Admin tickets do we do that through P&O or do we buy the upgrade ticket through Victoria Racing.

Upgrade, should be a link on your log in page.  We did this last year and booked grandstand seats, couldn’t use them because the weather was atrocious.  Those that paid for P&O area tickets were mostly disappointed.  It was away from where you could wander and check out horse stalls, iconic statues etc.

Thinking of doing it again this year, it was such a miserable freezing, wt day last year should be better this year?  Hopefully.
