Clearly someone got VERY frustrated with the interface.

Or very drunk ? We were dressed for Gala night and being escorted by our butler to get into the Theatre early for a couple of coveted seats before the doors open, when this obviously drunk comes from out of the Jungle Pool and just smashes the key pad with his fist. No particular deck, just smashes the key pad. We immediately look to our butler for his reaction. He just rolled his eyes to us and said nothing. Guess he did not want an altercation?

For the elevators, they are a new design that I have seen in some large hotels where rather than just pushing an up or down arrow on the outside, you enter the floor you are going to and are assigned an elevator. The elevator you are assigned will ONLY stop on the floors that it was assigned to go to. There are no buttons for floors inside of the elevators. So, if you get in the wrong elevator, you will not be taken to your floor.

As for fridges, yes, there are mini-fridges in each room. They come pre-stocked with items and if you consume any of those items, you will be charged for them. You can ask your room steward to empty the mini fridge for you and you will not be charged for any of the items and will have room to store your own food and beverages.

Thanks for the info. I haven’t come across these yet.

Should one press the elevator key too many times or too many people press the same key too many times one gets this response and the elevator will whisk on by without stopping.

Thanks.

What way does wifi work see its included in yacht club but don't see any options for WiFi when booking on seascape Aurea package 🤔

In the US, you choose whether you want to book the cruise fare only or you want to book cruise fare plus drinks and wifi at the very beginning of the booking process, before even choosing your room type or experience. I am not sure how it works with the UK site.

these elevators are NOT that complicated to use. I do not understand why people moan about them. It simply assigns you the elevator that is most direct to your deck. Carnival has these installed on the Horizon and Panorama, and I vastly prefer them. I also had *zero* issues with them on the Seaside.

It is when you get hordes of people that dont follow the directions that get impatient.

you do not get wifi with Aurea cabins. You need to book the promotion that includes the beverage package and wifi to get it (at least in the U.S.)
