Rare Roz Posted September 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 10, 2023 I'll be cruising back to Alaska on Sept. 17. I have one of those National Park Passport books. The last time I was at Glacier Bay was back in 2019, and I didn't think to ask about a Glacier Bay NP stamp. Does the park ranger bring one onboard, and if so, where is it located? erniesband Posted September 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted September 10, 2023 Yes, the ranger had it at the table set up for them.

Rare Roz Posted September 10, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted September 10, 2023 Thank you! I've always listened to the narration outside on the promenade, so never knew where the ranger was physically located.
auntmeg Posted September 10, 2023 #6 Share Posted September 10, 2023 They bring the gift shop items as well. So you can purchase souvenirs if you wish. No cash or credit card needed. It gets charged on your cabin card. 1
Rare Haljo1935 Posted September 11, 2023 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2023 The Ranger may or or may not be in the Crow's Nest, but park passport stamp will be. There will also be extra "slips" you can stamp if you don't have your book. Be sure to grab a cup of Dutch Pea Soup🤭

oakridger Posted September 15, 2023 #9 Share Posted September 15, 2023 I've heard of those park passport books. Now I wish I had one a long time ago because it would have a lot of stamps that I most likely will not visit again. Bad planning! ~Nancy
