We just booked a cruise for 2025 that has an Athens stop.  This will be our first international cruise 🙂 If we book Acropolis tickets, how do we get there from the port? Apologies if this has been asked before.

My DH and I booked a driver to get us to the Acropolis as early as possible. She picked us up by the taxi line up for $35. Plenty of taxis there. She offered to pick us up later and do a two hour tour then take us back to the ship for $105. We were glad we did. Here is her WhatsApp number if you want to book directly with her.IMG_6320.thumb.jpeg.ec0488c387bf514ac8e07c31e8cf16b8.jpeg

Can anybody tell me about Combined Acropolis tickets?  Is it possible to go to Theatre of Dionysus  one day and go inside Acropolis the next day?  Does it stand separately of Acropolis?

Thank you.

No, you can't.  The admission is for the Acropolis and Slopes. The theater is on the slope of the Acropolis and within its grounds.  It is very easy to visit at the same time as the Acropolis. The combined admission is for other sites in Athens in addition to the Acropolis.

Interesting. Now the General Admission for 20 euros covers all the other Athens sites.  Good deal.

They must've just changed it.  I didn't see this option a few hours ago

20 euro covers

Access to: Acropolis & Slopes, Ancient Agora, Hadrian's Library, Kerameikos, Aristotle's School [Lyceum], Olympieion, Roman Agora

30 euros

GENERAL ADM.30,00
What is the difference? Another glitch?

Ooops. There are two choices for General Admission. The first one is just for Acropolis and Slopes and it is 20 euros. The second one also lists the other sites and it is 30 euros.Yes, this is new.
