Scurrent Posted September 22, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2023 We will be in Bermuda on the NCL Getaway in late November 2023. We arrive at 9:00 and depart at 3:45, a very short time. Any suggestions on what we should do for a first visit to Bermuda in the winter? Any suggestions are appreciated. - Steve

Charles4515 Posted September 23, 2023 #4 Share Posted September 23, 2023 Do a four or five hour island tour.

I'm with Charles on this one-- get out of the Dockyard area and go see the actual island. Once you get back from the tour, if you leave first thing, you'll have enough time to wander around the Dockyard area.
sebas030 Posted September 29, 2023 #6 Share Posted September 29, 2023 You exit the ship as soon as possible, you take a 4 hour island tour round trip to the dockyark. Then you have some time to walk around the dockyard and even play a game of mini golf by the sea. The taxi drivers will get you back to the dockyard in time, don't worry. Bermuda is beautiful, enjoy it !

Assuming you are talking about the Dockyard (where the bigger ships dock) and not Hamilton (where smaller ships call), the nicer beach called Horseshoe Bay isn't far-- short shared minibus/taxi/excursion ride away. Give or take 20 minutes and well worth it. There is a small beach adjacent to the cruise ships in the Dockyard called Snorkel Beach which is manmade and generally awful.
