Returned yesterday from the 2 night to Freeport

Instead of going into detail just going to rate a few observations from 1-10

Overall ship       5 (old but clean)

Embarkation      7 (arrived at 1)

Buffet.                3 (not appetizing)

Dinner.               2 (no flavor)

Bars.                  8 (friendly good pours)

Entertainment    4 (no talent)

Pizza.                9 (tasty good service)

Disembarkation 9 ( quick and easy)

Overall went on this cruise with little expectations. 
I don’t believe we will return as the cost was way higher than expected with all the extras fees 

One good thing won enough in the casino to pay for this cruise

Thanks for the report. What were "all the extras fees" that you paid for that you wouldn't have paid for on the major cruise lines? I recall they charge for pizza.

Charge for full pies.  Individual slices are complimentary.

Fuel Surcharge 20$ per day per person 

Pizza (never saw free pizza)

60$ to park for two nights 

5$ for bottled water

Good to know, thanks. Other cruise lines have an option of adding a fuel surcharge but I don't recall anyone actually invoking that. So yes, that's a negative compared to the competition.

 

As for the others, someone above posted that pizza is free if you go by the slice rather than an entire pie. Parking is on the high side but you'd have a similar expense at any port and it is valet. And bottled water is a charge on any ship too.

Do you mean a fuel surcharge once on board? Or, you mean something that was charged at the time of booking?
