Sure, but it might be windy. The only restrictions is you must keep your curtains closed at night

The forward facing balconies on small ships are our favorite rooms. We simply love them. Spectacular 270 degree views. You have access to your balcony 24/7 while on the ship. They are hull balconies so the structure of the ship is designed to sweep the wind up and over your head if you are sitting of standing back from the railing. If you are standing right at the railing,,, you'll get the wind in your face (which isn't always bad). There are (maybe obvious) rules like don't open your balcony door and stateroom door at the same time because the wind will sweep straight through your room carrying any lose paper out into the hall. And, you are asked to keep your drapes closed at night so the light from your stateroom does not affect the night vision of the bridge crew. So, dim the lights when using the balcony at night. Lounging in the sun or shade from the overhang (it's about a 100 sq ft balcony) Sailing up the St. Lawrence River Sailing Alaska
