Cabo or Mazatlan- 17-year-old Jet Ski or ATV Rental?

I'm headed to the MR with my two teens over the holidays and would love to find a place where my son (17-years-old with a valid license) would be able to rent either a jet ski or an ATV/Razor, etc.  Would love to hear from anyone with success finding a spot to do so. Thanks in advance!

Try Viator, I used them on our last cruise and my 16 year old was able to drive the UTV and jet skis with no issue. Mazatlan has a couple of ATV rides that look fun, I'm going on November the 11th Panorama cruise and have that planned for that port.

I would do ATVs in Cabo and Jet skis in Mazatlán.  The ATV rides in Cabo are north of the city along the highway to Todos Santoa on the Pacific coast.  It's really a pretty area.

 

For jet skis, I would simply take an Uber or - if you must/want - a "pulmonia" to the Zona Dorada (golden zone) north of the port.  Jet ski rentals can be found in front of the hotels and restaurants there.  What I like about this location is that Isla de Vendados or Deer Island provides some amount of protection from the waves.
