Yacht club rooms on the meraviglia

Thinking about going on MCS Meraviglia yacht club room. Have never been on MSC and are well seasoned NCL cruisers. 
which deck is best for the yacht club cabin? What do I need to know before booking?  Any sales coming up?
any tips would be greatly appreciated.

We were on deck 18, and loved it. Right around the corner from the restaurant. Down one deck to 16 (there is no deck 17) to get to the concierge desk and Top Sail lounge. Up on deck to 19 for the pool and pool buffet. There's a private elevator for YC deck, plus the beautiful Swarovski crystal staircase.

I have  sailed on Mera YC deck 16..balcony toward the front, port side, had my own private entrance to the lounge..we thought it was great.

Our preference is for deck 16 for access to the Top Sail Lounge and Concierge desk.

16 for me, and no matter which side your cabin is on there is a door from the Top Sail Lounge to the cabin hallway I can exit the lounge and go right to my cabin. I had 16001 once so I didn't have to stumble far to my bed.
