CruisnDeb Posted October 4, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 4, 2023 We are thinking of taking one of the taxis at the cruise port (Havensight dock) to Sapphire Beach. Will there be taxis at Sapphire Beach that we can take back to the cruise port? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Ms411 Posted October 4, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 4, 2023 Yes, there is a taxi stand at Sapphire Beach, and there should be at least one taxi there, but there are usually more. If not, you may have to wait a few minutes until one returns, or somebody at Sapphire can call one for you.

Wishing on a star Posted April 7 #6 Share Posted April 7 Here is a link to the web-site that will show the official info. https://www.*****/stthomas/getting_around_stt/taxi_stt/ It seems that from the Port at Charlotte Amalie to Sapphire Beach is as follows... 1 passenger - $21.00 2 or more passengers - $15.00 pp ($30.00 for a couple) I am not an expert, but I have heard mention that drivers really hope/want passengers to share if possible so that they can make a better rate for the ride. Most taxi's are vans that can hold a number of people.
Ms411 Posted April 7 #7 Share Posted April 7 ICF, most people say it's a 20 minute ride, but to me it seems a bit longer. The island is very small so it doesn't take long to get anywhere
