Pacific Coastal Cruise - How Far Offshore?

With our cruise just days away, I keep think of more questions! For those who have sailed on this (Vancouver-LA) or similar itineraries, does the ship sail close enough to see the shore? We chose a port side cabin for this southbound sailing in hopes that we might enjoy some scenery.

Greetings: We did the LA to Vancouver trip back right after the restart - May, 2022. The weather then was rough, going north. We could not see the shore on that trip, but it was cool going into SF, under the Golden Gate Bridge. Hopefully, you will have great weather and be able to see into the distance.

Best, jdk

Thanks, jkd. It occurred to me last night that they probably must stay some distance offshore to be able to open the casino. We don’t gamble, so I had not thought of that.

And hello neighbor! We just moved to Woodstock.

Mrs. Tiki: absolutely - hello neighbor! We actually live up in Woodmont, so if you are in the area, we would love to share notes. Best, Jonathan
