Excursions ... How to handle

1.  We have one popular excursion that we absolutely don't want to miss so we intended to book when able to and pay on credit cards.

If we asked our TA to book for us could she do so and charge to sailor's individual credit cards on the day excursion bookings open rather than everyone in our group trying to book separately OR one person booking for all in our group and collecting money from everyone?

2.  Would like to book other excursions onboard using loot.

Do most excursions totally sell out before embarkation day?

3. Anything ever available day of? Considering late night events onboard we really don't want to get stuck using loot to book excursions and b too tired to attend.

Thanks all.

If your TA is cooperative, he/she can take care of things for you in advance just as you stated above.

Whether excursions sell out depends on the cruise and the excursions.  There are excursions for sale on board; the issue is whether they are the ones you want.  Same day, same answer.  Sometimes.  Consider your alternatives.  If you don't care whether you go on a bus to somewhere or take transportation to a beach on your own, you can wait and see what is available.  If you definitely want to go see that sloth in the tree or your vacation will be ruined, you'd better book ahead.

TAs can book dinners and shore excursions for you when they're open for sale.

Sailor Loot can only be used onboard. Popular shore excursions sell out quickly because VV has limited availability compared to the other cruise lines. If there is something you really want to do, book it as soon as they are open.
