Rare Grumpella Posted October 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2023 We are sailing on the Seaside in November and received an offer today to bid for the Yacht Club. The email said "from $ 820 per person" but then when I clicked for details, it said $930. However, I was able to slide the bar back down and bid $ 830 per person. My question is, was the $930 their suggested minimum bid? Also, when I have bid before on NCL, it says whether your bid is Weak, Fair, etc.. There are no ratings here. Thank you in advance for your advice.
Rare Essiesmom Posted October 12, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2023 (edited) When I have made upgrade bids there has always been a meter to the right telling me if my bid is poor, fair, good, etc. I agree it is hard to get the little slider down to the opening bid number. Rare Grumpella Posted October 12, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted October 12, 2023 It did not show that, perhaps because I did on my mobile phone. When I went to my laptop, I was able to see that. Thank you.
Rare Essiesmom Posted October 12, 2023 #4 Share Posted October 12, 2023 Those were screen shots from my iPad. I don’t do things on my phone unless there is not a choice. EM
deliver42 Posted October 13, 2023 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2023 The bidding is conducted by an outside company, not MSC. The same for all the other lines that have the bidding process.
