For those that have sailed on Christmas Day, does Carnival do a special Christmas meal, or is it a standard menu?

They will have a different menu for Christmas night. It will also be designated as one of the "elegant" nights.

I have always wanted Carnival to add pecan pie to their dessert menu!  I guess I just have to sail on X-mas.  Unfortunately, I’ll be a few weeks early this year…

I may be misremembering but I feel like they had pecan pie on my most recent Magic cruise on the buffet.

Aloha. We have been blessed to sail several Thanksgiving and Christmas cruises with various lines and ships. All of them provide an exciting holiday atmosphere and loads of traditional foods and decorations and events. I personally enjoyed Mass at Sea. I am confident that you and your family will enjoy. Wow I would love to try that.  Was it good?  Was it at dinner?  They only seem to have the cakes and cookies lunchtime.

Yes if I am remembering correctly it was at dinner and it was pretty good.
