momof4girls Posted October 16, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 16, 2023 I bought a $100 gift card on the 11th and haven’t received an email with the number yet. Anyone else had that happen? I’m hoping that calling AARP today will take care of it. I’ve never had this happen, and I’ve bought multiple cards in the past.
ZoeyVictoria Posted October 16, 2023 #2 Share Posted October 16, 2023 Are you certain the purchase went through (is the charge on your credit card)? Is the email possibly in your junk/spam folder?
teknoge3k Posted October 16, 2023 #3 Share Posted October 16, 2023 As ZoeyVictoria said, be sure your purchase went through. Then check your spam/junk folder. The emails usually arrive within a few minutes.
Drazil65 Posted October 16, 2023 #4 Share Posted October 16, 2023 Always received via email within minutes of purchase over the years. Check to make sure transaction is showing up on card used to purchase.
ultrafighter Posted October 16, 2023 #5 Share Posted October 16, 2023 There was one time I didn't receive a gift card I paid for, and a quick call to AARP fixed it.
LANDA1995 Posted October 16, 2023 #6 Share Posted October 16, 2023 I just got about 3,000 in cards this week and I got the emails within a few minutes.

Also before calling, just check your transaction history on the AARP rewards site and/or if the card is still in your cart
momof4girls Posted October 16, 2023 Author #8 Share Posted October 16, 2023 Thank you guys for your responses! I used the "chat" option since I am busy at work, and the nice rep just resent the email to me. She doesn't know why it never arrived. I checked all my folders, even. At least it was a quick fix, and it didn't took much time out of my day (as opposed to my last phone call with Carnival).
