jenncren Posted October 26, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2023 I'm on an Allure weekend cruise in a couple of weeks that has CoCoCay as its only stop. I'm curious, if the ship can't dock due to weather or what-have-you, would we have to substitute another stop outside the US before we could return? Or could we just have two sea days and come back? If it is weather related an exception can be granted where they do not have to stop at a port. It's happened a couple times this year.

Depending on existing dock schedule, they could easily divert to Nassau (it is only ~90 miles away from Coco Cay). Nassau can support up to six ships at a time, and back in the old days when Coco Cay was a tender port, we ended up in Nassau more times than we were actually able to get off the ship in Coco Cay.
