Healthcare Credit for 2 Staterooms

I booked 2 staterooms through my TA and I received 2 separate booking numbers on an Alaskan voyage. From what I understand is that the healthcare worker OBC is $100 per stateroom. I called Holland and they stated that they do see a healthcare worker credit for 1 stateroom and not the other. Does anybody have experience in getting the healthcare worker credit for multiple staterooms? I believe the shareholder credit is also per stateroom booked.

Can both staterooms be combined into 1 booking number and then the $100 obc will be applied to both rooms?

Welcome to Cruise Critic!

Your health-care (or any other) OBC applies only to your stateroom, no matter how many cabins you pay for. If the occupant of the other cabin is also a healthcare worker, they will have to apply for their own OBC.

Does this answer your questions?

I understand now. That does answer my question. Thank you so much.

Is there a way to manage/add the other booking/stateroom under my Holland account? I tried looking for the option on the website and was not able to find it. Or would it have to be my TA who does that? I want to book excursions together or specialty dining for the family members I'm travelling with.

Your TA can link the bookings together to make booking dining together easier. I'm not sure if it helps with booking excursions but I do think if you both book the same one, you'll be on the same bus together.

For excusions you need "bustickets". If you go for those do it together and you will be in 1 bus.

You should be able to log in with the other cabin's last name (of primary traveller) and booking number. It's in the right column where the left column is YOUR login. I once managed FIVE (four additional) cabins this way. However to have the dining LINKED, I did have to call in.

I was also told the healthcare OBC can only be used once per calendar year. Has anyone else heard this?

I used it in March 2023 and also have it credited for my cruise scheduled November 2023 so I am guessing that you can use it multiple times.

How are you getting a healthcare credit? I'm a working RN and I don't know about this.  I thought MSC was the only one with healthcare credit. I appreciate any help.

There is a community appreciation link at the bottom of HAL’s homepage. Click on that, choose your category, submit required documentation & get approved. You can also get AARP credit & CCL shareholder credit (if you own 100+ shares). They can all be used together to increase your overall OBC.

You can potentially run into issues trying to use multiple Healthcare /First Responder credits. From the T&C -

The offer expires at the end of the Eligible Cruise and may not be used in the casino or on gratuities or any other specified fees or items.

Also remember it's for new bookings only, so complete your verification before you book.
