Viewing friends doing the dolphin swim at port

How close can non participants get to watch people doing the Swimming with Dolphins at the port?

Fairly close, check the youtube videos and you can judge for yourself if it's close enough.  It's part of the cruise port complex, not at a separate facility.

Super easy to see. The walkway is right there at the dolphin swim. 

 

 

If you really want to get a good perspective (or take pictures), pay to go up in the bird aviary there. It goes right over top of the dolphin swim area and they can be viewed from the bridge or in the palapa stand above. You could get some great shots from up there.
