Port of Pauillac Wine Tours

We're on the Celebrity Silhouette that docks in Pauillac overnight & stays the following day, in August, 2024. We've been looking without success for a wine & chateaux tour in ether the Medoc or St Emilion regions (or possibly any other nearby region). All tour operators we've found so far only depart from the town of Bordeaux and will not offer a pick up & return to our port. Any suggested tour operators or ideas ?

Have you looked at the website for the official PauillcTourist Office as there may be suggestions to be found on it, or perhaps e-mail them and ask if they can suggest a local company or person.

I actually did before I posted this & it wasn't much help. Pauillac is a very small town.  Also only in French.

dabear, very often local tourist office websites in  towns and cities in other countries  will offer a range of language options, and these are usually/often to be  found somewhere near the very top of the home page, often on the top right side.  Look for a UK flag (or the letters eng) which would give you the website translated into english.

And if you need to make contact with a tourist office or tour provider, you could e-mail using one of the online translation websites, such as Google Translate to write your message in english, then copy/paste the local language translation to your e-mail before sending.

And should you receive a reply in a language you don't understand, simply copy/paste the reply into eg Google Translate to translate it to english.

marazul has given you several links and hopefully at least one will be of use to you in your search for a wine/chateaux tour.

Cheers!
