Rail Trail review Nov 2023

Arrived on the Jewel on a Sat in November...took taxi to Fort Scaur..think it was $25.

Explored the fort then walked down a hill to the left of fort...very shaded tree path...not clearly defined but bottom of hill we turned left and walked rail trail straight across a few roads then eventually made a left and found somerset police station.  Map is confusing but there are a few brown rail trail signs...at one point we passed a church on the right and a school on the left...after going to pharmacy and supermarket in somerset plus eyeing the menu at pizza place we took bus back to Dockyard. Had to stop.a local or two to ask for directions...map.had us turning but we really needed to stay straight across 2 or 3 roads...be aware there are a few motorized bikes on the trail..you can hear them coming so there is time to move to the edge of the trail.
