Questions re: accessibility of Princess Transfers from LAX to San Pedro

I am told that the Princess Transfers from LAX to San Pedro are done via a shuttle bus and that a mobility assistive device can only be accommodated if it can fold small enough to fit in the luggage compartment of the shuttle. We carry a heavy duty walker rollator that can be folded, but is still somewhat large and bulky. If you have taken this shuttle have you noticed how large the luggage compartment is and do you remember if the shuttle has a ramp to enter or only stairs? If it has stairs/steps only are they high or low? I have tried to find out this information from Princess, but they do not have specifics as transportation services to and from the airport are apparently farmed out to a third party. I have e-mailed the Princess Accessibility Department and have not yet received a response. Thank you for any information you can provide.

FYI, I have also posted this topic in the disabled board.

Have you looked here?   (look under Travel and Transportation, and then Transfers)

https://www.princess.com/en-us/faq/pre-cruise

They should be able to secure accessible transportation from LAX to the pier.   But they need to know ahead of time for this to be arranged.   Then you don't need to worry about if your mobility device will fit or if there are steps to get into the vehicle.   (Most regular airport to ship transfer vehicles are tour-size buses.)

Plan B:   Request an UberXL vehicle to take you from LAX to the pier.   the UberXL vehicles are larger (like SUVs) vehicles and you should be able to have room for your rollator in the back.  And you won't have to wait for the Princess bus to fill up with passengers before it leaves for the pier.

Plan C  Request transportation through Wingz.   We have personally used them numerous times (although not from LAX) and we won't use anyone else if we can book with Wingz.   You would need to advise them when you are completing your ride request that you need a vehicle that will accommodate a large folding rollator.     https://www.wingz.me/airport/lax/    In my opinion, Wingz is a step above Uber.
