Kona vs Hilo private tours

I have read that Hilo has more lush areas. Kona private tours do not excite us. Can we just walk around there and do more extensive sightseeing in Hilo in March, 2024, Emerald Princess. Ty for all who have been there.

If you want lush, there are tons of places to visit near Hilo if you rent a car. For example, the Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve & Garden https://htbg.com.

I'd say there is very little that is lush on Hawaii Island. There are some areas near Hilo, the best being ʻAkaka Falls State Park.

The best tour in Kona would be a coffee plantation tour.
