Anyone ever have luck getting booked on a cruise from the waitlist?  We are number 6 on the waitlist.   Wondering if we have a chance.  Cruise sails Dec 30.  Today is Dec 12.   We live in West Palm, Fla area so no worries getting to Ft Lauderdale to Board!
Thanks for any info!

Didn’t realize they were doing waitlists since the restart.

Did you book with PCL or a TA?  They used to advise by email, but it was hit or miss.  Check your booking every day and see if you have a cabin assigned.

In fact, watch the website to see if a cabin opens in your waitlisted category, call your TA immediately to grab the cabin or PCL, if you booked directly.

If this is a guaranteed GTY cabin or an UG bid, then that’s a whole different story. Those can be assigned right up to sailing date.

Are you actually booked on a cruise and waiting on the results of an upgrade bid or are you talking about a waitlist for the cruise itself? The wording in your OP is a bit unclear.

Highly unlikely that you will be accommodated on to this cruise.  It's too close to departure.  In order for there space to become available, someone would have to cancel.  Canceling this close to a cruise would entail an FCC and/or having to go through insurance, which aren't optimal outcomes.

I've had relatives who waitlisted for cruises and were accommodated after final payment had passed because people with reservations decided to cancel and get their full deposits back at the 11th hour.
