Good, you have returned to the living. Thanks for the photos, shark b8. We never saw the sun in Antarctica or Patagonia, gives the place a whole different look.

OK....5 airports and 37 hours/27 minutes later, we're home.  Sundance approves.

 

This one obviously didn't turn out to be the adventure we anticipated, so the CC thread suffered pretty much the same fate, sorry about that.  I'm now considering whether we'll plan Antarctica v4.0 at some point (I'm leaning in favor, my fave place), but in any case, there's some more travel coming up in the not-too-distant future, so maybe we'll try this again and hope for better results.  Thanks, everybody.

I just saw that William Shatner will be on one of the Antarctica Seabourn cruises next year. Perhaps he can take you to places you've never been before. 😃

Thanks for what you posted Shark b8. Always entertaining, we shared your disappointment.

We also know well the feeling of 30-40hrs travelling but nothing better than being greeted by a dog with the zoomies.

Yeah, she had her 3rd birthday while we were gone, but will essentially remain a puppy all her life.  

 

And sincere thanks to everyone who sent along well-wishes as this little disaster played out, this is a great little community.
