Questions Regarding Drink Packages

We will receive the Elite Drink Package on our next cruise as part of our Have It All cruise price.

Does the Elite Drink Package include the coffee at the Exploration Café and after dinner specialty coffee in the dining room?  And does it include sodas?

I read that there is an 18% gratuity charge.  Is that on the drink package or per drink?  And, how it that charged?  Is it rolled into the Have It All price or is it charge to your onboard account?

Thanks!

Gratuities are already included in the HIA beverage packages.  You aren't required to pay any more unless you purchase something outside of or above the $15 maximum.  If you get a drink higher than $15 you only pay the price difference plus 18% gratuity on the difference.

Yes, sodas and specialty coffees in the MDR and at bars are included in the package. (room service and mini bar drinks are not included in your package) No limit per day of non alcoholic drinks with the Elite package.

Have fun!

Oakridger Nancy covered the waterfront. All I would add is that the dollar-figure limit is applied to the "menu price" of the drink you order. I suppose that's to clarify that you don't get the benefit of any reduced pricing, not even during happy hour; it all counts the same with the drinks package.

The Elite Beverage Package includes 15 alcoholic drinks per day with a menu price of up to $15. Gratituities are included. It also includes unlimited non-alcoholic beverage. Again, tips are covered.

If you want something that exceeds the $15 and limit, you pay the difference.

We stress tested the EBP last week. We had 4 glasses of high end Cabernet Sauvignon that were $3 over and a really good Sancerre that retailed for $24.
