Last Cruise Before Dry Dock

Any experiences or concerns booking the last cruise before a dry dock?

We did one and the only difference was we watched some plywood and other of things get loaded on one day.  They were going to start some work on the way to dry dock.  Nothing different than a usual cruise.

Also, certain food and beverage items might be out of stock or in short supply. Probably not major. That was our experience October of last year with Riviera on Oceania

That's what prompted my question. We were on Princess, last spring, for the for time in about 25 years and it was a bit of a ***** show They were going into dry dock just after our cruise. Wasn't sure if it was the dry dock or just the Princess way.

Almost the same. We were on the cruise before a special charter. So much work was done on our cruise in preparation and supplies were short.

Did one on RCL years ago and by the end of the cruise they had already started taking apart railings, moving furniture around, etc....  Won't do one again.
