UnbridledEnthusiasm Posted December 29, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 29, 2023 If you are traveling solo and you order a bottle of wine, can I walk out with the bottle?

Rare Liljo22 Posted December 29, 2023 #3 Share Posted December 29, 2023 The wine steward also offered to save our bottle and give us a tag that we could turn into the waiter at any restaurant and they would retrieve it for us.
chengkp75 Posted December 29, 2023 #4 Share Posted December 29, 2023 Based on your other thread, you can walk out with the bottle, if it is opened and partially consumed. As I noted in that thread, the ship is not licensed to sell unopened liquor.
Rare BirdTravels Posted December 29, 2023 #5 Share Posted December 29, 2023 Not sure what the nuance of the word sell is. I can go to the duty free shop and buy bottles of unopened liquor. I can buy wine packages pre-cruise to be delivered to my room unopened. As pointed out, up to the pandemic, you could have multiple bottles of unopened wine delivered to your room as part of the Viva Vino package. I personally get 4 or more bottles of wine sent to my stateroom from various departments on the ship on every cruise (not paid for by me) unopened. I always take my free latitudes wine, unopened from the restaurant on every cruise (5-6 a year).

The OP was asking virtually the same question on another thread about the POA, which does not allow this.
