Casino Elite cruise transportation and benefits

Hey all,

This will be my first Elite cruise and have some questions. I received a email asking about my preference for alcohol and mixers to have in the room, spa credit or excursion credit and if I will be parking or flying in. We chose flying in and was wondering when we will receive the email from the transportation company regarding pick up. We are sailing out of Gavelston and wanted to spend a couple of days there before the cruise. Is the transportation only available on the day of the cruise or can we arrive a couple days before and be driven to the port?
Has anyone done a Casino Elite cruise recently?  Any info about the prizes, contests and perks? Thanks in advance!

No problem using the translation on different days.  We did a B2B 6-day Elite and 15-day not Elite.  No problem having the return 15 days after the end of the Elite cruise, although I did have to call to have the return date overwritten because the online form only allows up to 20 days between drop off and pick up.

Any info about the prizes, contests and perks?

The last Elite we were on had

FILL MY BAG (I was the big winner!)

MATILDA, THE CASH COW

HOT SEAT

If it's an Elite Cruise out of Galveston and Houston is the closest large airport, I can't imagine how they could NOT include that distance.

Also, it doesn't even have to be from an airport.  We did a cruise on Royal Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale, then connected to an Elite Cruise out of Miami and used the Elite transportation between ports.

I think anything reasonable from a major airport is fine. We took an Elite out of Southampton earlier this year, and they provided pickup from our hotel in London. It was an 80+ mile drive, and took almost 2 hours.

We are doing another elite cruise on Saturday and they are picking us up at the airport 2 days before and driving us to the hotel. 3 weeks ago we did one where we were too far a distance to be picked up but they offered us $75 each way compensation or to pay for our parking. Have a great trip!!

Did an elite on the Celebration first week in December.  Used their transfer from hotel to ship and back to hotel after cruise.  Hind sight being 2020, I should have used their transfer to/from the Airport/Hotel.

For gifts, we got a toiletry tote, a large tote, 2 stainless 'martini' tumblers (yeti spoof), a HUGE fruit/cheese basket, cookies, lanyards, magnet.  If you feed the slots enough, you will also get some dinner comps.  There was also a welcome aboard cocktail party.

There were 'drawings' at 11:00 each night for various games (matilda cash cow, etc.).  They would call several names but you only had 90 seconds to 'get' there.  The last night of the cruise, the drawings were at 5:00.

There was also a mid-week promo where if you had a certain amount of points on the 'given' day, you got $200 Free Play.

I would do an Elite again.
