HIA Complimentary Excursion + extra payment

My DF and I are going to Alaska this summer, and would like to take the White Pass and Yukon excursion in Skagway. Obviously, that eats up the excursion credit, and we will have to pay on top of that.  I got so far on the excursion order, then chickened out, because my dad wants to use a different CC..  Can someone tell me if he can use a different CC to pay for the excursion than the one on his account?

I can't remember if you are asked for the CC number when each excursion is booked, but if not, your dad could just go into his HAL account and change the card to the one he wants to use for the excursion.  He could change it back to the original card if he wants after the train booking.

It will ask for CC number at checkout regardless of whether a card has been registered for the cruise.

Just make sure you are logged in and see your excursion credits applied.  You can definitely use any credit card to pay the difference.

Not only can you use it different card from booking, but you can split the cost among multiple cards when you book an excursion.

Save yourself some $$ and book the WP&Y railway directly. Dock to train station is a 10 minute walk. Use your HIA excursion for something else.

I was going to post the same advice.  By booking directly we were in a half-full car while the ship's cars were packed with passengers.
