Owners Suite Connecting Cabins Oasis OTS

Hi Everyone.

 

We are looking at booking an Owners Suite with the connecting 2D balcony for a cruise with our daughter and SIL and their 1 year old daughter.

 

Can anyone who has sailed in an Owners Suite with the connecting cabin tell me how the connecting works? I am more familiar with how the connecting works on the Celebrity ships.

 

Did you find that the bedroom afforded enough privacy with just a curtain?

The inside connecting door will be just like in a hotel and you can also have your cabin steward open the balcony divider to have a larger balcony.

 

Their will be a curtain in the OS to separate from the living/sleeping space. It's a heavy curtain but not sure how much privacy you need. 

 

We sail in OS's and so pretty familiar with them fleetwide.

FWIW, our preference has been to NOT use the connecting door, and instead rely on the balcony divider being opened.  I feel it gives a bit more privacy.
