Switching Cabin Category Question

I booked two cruises last summer for 2024 using a Casino promo that came w $500 OBC.   It was only good for 2 bookings because after I booked the second one the promo disappeared from My Offers even though it hadn't reached the promo expiration date but that date has passed by now anyway.  Now, I'd like to move cabins from regular Balcony to Havana Aft balcony or a suite.   Here's my Question -- Can I change cabins and still keep it under that promo?  I don't want to lose the $500 OBC!   I thought I could but when I called and asked to switch cabins (not ship or sail date) the rep said No.  I tried to point out I was offering to pay MORE for a cabin - LOL - but she cut me off.   It is a casino promo.  Anyone have other experience with this?  Bad Rep Advice or Accurate?  Thanks!

Sounds like the rep gave you accurate information.  The $500 OBC is tied to the type of category room that you originally booked under.  If you change category rooms, you will loose any additional perks (OBC, DOU, free play, etc) associated with that booked rate.  You would need to currently have an offers that cover Havana Balconies or suites with any extra perks in order to change room categories.

New casino offers rolled out Jan 4th.  You can do a mock booking with any new offers you received and see if they are better than what you originally booked.  If the offer is better, then you can rebook at the better offer.

You aren't switching cabins.  You are cancelling and rebooking.  The offer needs to be still current.  As noted above, the perks are tied to room type.  Check for new offers.  You can do it but you may be subject to fees
